What is the loneliness project?

This project is an investigation into the existential loneliness of being human. How do we reckon with our own insignificance? What does it mean to forge a meaningful connection with others, with our communities, or with the environment? What are the limits of intimacy? And what it might look like to feel at home in the world?

One day this project will become a book. I’d love your help in shaping it.

Writing a book is lonely!

One of the goals of this newsletter is as a tool to form connections with a diverse, thoughtful group of humans. Please reach out if you have thoughts or responses! I’m thinking of this project as an experiment in making the writing process a little less lonely and a little more collaborative.
